Imma be honest, the OG mastery was better. The rewards were SO MUCH BETTER and you could see which brawlers other players mastered and therefore, you could see their level. Now it’s all Starr drops and random chances. It’s really mid considering rare and super rare Starr drops constitute 80% of the Starr drops you will get. Also pls bring back the old Trophy Road emblems 😭 I don’t want a goofy ahh crown to show I am at 23k trophies.

Brawl stars, you don't even have to remove masteries! Just do records AND masteries at the same time! You have players grinding for the records title and at the same time grinding for the ACTUAL rewards from masteries

If you want to take away all of our options for earning credits, just remove them and replace them with a better system for earning brawlers.

I've been a dedicated Brawl Stars player for years, and one of the main reasons I kept playing was Mastery. It gave me a clear goal-to push and explore different Brawlers and feel rewarded for the effort. Now, with the June update, Supercell has completely removed Mastery rewards, replacing them with a ridiculous gacha system: Star Drops. Why would you take away one of the few rewarding systems in the game and replace it with something so luck-based and hollow? I used to enjoy playing Brawlers I normally wouldn't touch, just because I was chasing Mastery rewards. Now? What's the point? Just cosmetics like titles, emotes, and star drops? That’s beyond frustrating. It feels like this update was designed to push players into spending money, not to make the game more fun. Honestly, this decision completely killed my motivation to play. There’s no longer any sense of progress. Just meaningless RNG and shallow rewards. Supercell, please listen to your community before this game loses even more of its soul.

My question is why did supercell remove the masteries? Records are so boring. You need to do quests in game modes that you hate only to win record points, and guess it, records points are useless. That isn't good

See I don’t mind masteries being removed but it is just an overall progression nerf. First the mastery madness was ended early and now the update has released all the “moved” mastery reward are in the trophy road and unclaimable if you were already above the trophies required which basically means a large amount of the player base have essentially had resources taken away from them under the guise that they are being moved to the trophy road. This is especially significant if you didn’t grind the mastery event because that was the only sort of compensation given but the solution should just be simple: let people claim the previous trophy road rewards and then it will actually feel like the resources have been moved not nerfed.

Shame on you for replacing a feature no one was complaining about just because of your own butthurt due to how nice the progression was. What has my favorite game become with all these paid early access deals and temporary events with no concrete content...

What supercell should do is completely rework the records and add back masteries. We have multiple ways of collecting resources and rewards now, so I think records should be game mode specific. Like a solo showdown record, or brawl ball record that you can grind to show off your skill. The higher the record the better you are at that specific game mode ig. Grinding your favorite game mode while earning a title and possibly some rewards for that game mode would be amazing. Another thing supercell could add if they want players to earn more rewards is adding daily achievements. I don't think any explanation is needed for that.

I loved masteries. When i needed coins i would grind each brawler to silver 2. It gave me something to do when there werent any events going on AND forcing me to learn each and every brawler. Maybe i just need to get use to the update, but.. i think yall just ruined the daily grind for me.

This is a terrible idea, removing the masteries and instead putting random stardrops which are expensive as shit. No reason to do that except for keeping the people playing and making everything far more slower, im not gonna keep playing after this, sorry but its not fair

I believe the crocodile brawler is part of the love swamp trio because each member has a semi-aquatic animal and a toxic relationship trait. Tadpole+controlling, mosquito+gossiping and now crocodile+stalking

You could make an option in the clubs, to see how many mega safes the club has already made and completed the total number of trophies that the club has already had, so that it helps other people find the best club to stay and make the mega safes

The new records system just sucks. With masteries, you had guaranteed rewards, which are a ton of money and credits, helping you farm and also unlock new characters with the credits. The new system is just a random star drop, with the maximum reward being 200 gold (this happened to me now 😢)

How do I even get coins now, like with the removal of masteries it's difficult to get coins for f2p players. You only get a few thousand from brawl pass and you need 18k to max out a single brawler

I honestly didn't like the records that came to the game and it was very difficult before. Now every three thousand trophies give the legendary starr gift but it didn't before, why don't you give the legendary starr gift to people with high trophies

The funny thing is Supercell said that the rewards from masteries were transferred to the Trophy road and its better, but you have to be a 100k player to get those rewards. And if you are a 100k player, you would've had a maxed account anyways. I'm on record level 5 with 11k points and from all the star drops I got 1000 coins and 200 power points... absolutely ridiculous, horrible update.

I'll be honest, I was eager to get back into the game, but last season didn't really inspire me. I waited for it to end, and now I thought they'd add something even better than the masteries, but no. They can't just take away a ton of rewards for some Stardrops and horrible designs. I started playing in 2019 and ended up playing until 2021, then I came back in 2023 and ended up playing until August 2024. Now I wanted to get back, but with 62 Brawlers, it's impossible for me to unlock them, and even more difficult with this update. If I, who have played quite a bit and have 62 Brawlers, find it difficult, I don't know what those who want to start playing are doing. PS: I don't speak English and I used the translator so something might not be right 😅

Dear Brawl Stars, I am a 14 year old that's has played this game since 2020, I haven't been a day 1 brawler but I've been around long enough to know that this game is dying. And I know there's been waves of it "dying" for a while now but this just isn't the same game as it was and it's losing OG players by the second. I really hope you listen to me because there's a special place in my heart for this game but some reason why it's dying is because there isn't any foundational things to this game if that makes sense. Like this is pretty much in entirely different game then it was in the past. Like all of these things that made the game to it's peak and how it started just totally changed and trophy road was really the only somewhat thing that was left and now there goes that. Another thing that I personally believe why this is dying is because there are way to many "things" to this game. I miss when Brawl Stars was just so much simpler and I'm not saying don't make fun updates anymore just do it maybe once every 2 months or so. It's just way to complicated and even this new brawler is just too much. Finally i think this game is dying because you are too kid friendly. Like the majority of people who play this game are 4 year olds or early elementry schools kids who don't have large attention spans so they come when there's a big update but goes when they get bored of it and like I said the players that have been playing for a while are leaving. There's just not a family to this game anymore. I personally believe that they should just steadily go back to what it was in the past like early 24 or late 23 or honestly even before would be nice like when I started playing in 2020-2021. Something needs to happen to this game though because I haven't played this game (besides collecting daily rewards, if friends want to play, or checking out some update) in months. Please like so this can hopefully reach supercell and we can try to make a change to Brawl stars. 58+k trophies and i wasn't able to bring all my brawlers to silver 2 masterie in the event due to having a life beside brawl stars. so i missed out on a couple thousend coins there. I thought not a big deal since i should get quite some coins from the trophie road rework. Turns out you don't get compensated for already claimed rewards that became buffed. I'm so pissed right now and disapointed in Supercell that i'm currently thinking about quitting the game. Big scam here

Hey Brawl team, idk if you'll read this, but the Yuki skin is very meaningful. My sister loves Kit (yes, because she goes crazy for cats), and... years ago had a white cat we'd called Yuki. Sadly, the cat passed away in a pretty gruesome way (possible poisoning). So not only is her fav Brawler getting a white cat skin, but it's named after her beloved cat. Thank you, that's very amazing ♥
