Masteries was one if the Main Reasons for me to be actively playing the game several hours a day. The idea of getting a rare cosmetic through progression felt amazing, and I know im not the only one with this feeling. The new system is gotta be flawless, or I might be afraid the change will not be good for the games health.

@@tab135 Completely agree. There was a lot of ideas circling the community for mastery reworks that everyone liked, but none of those ever included deleting the whole system. We will have to wait, but if the system is not incredibly good, then we might be looking at a downfall, just like happened in Clash Royale.

The fact that you took away the mastery function we had and replaced it with exactly the same thing with a new face, missions and less rewards is horrible. Getting a star drop (I won’t mention the rates) where I could have picked up 1500+ coins is literally depressing. The old mastery system felt rewarding for hard work. This “mastery system” that isn’t a mastery system is just another slap in the face.

Please, rework the credits. Give us the opportunity to save the credits we earn so they don't go straight to Fame. I imagine many of us have experienced this: we wait for a new Brawler, and shortly before its release, we open a lot of Star Drops, which give us a lot of credits, and they go straight to Fame, so we can't use them to get that new Brawler. For example, currently, as of June 3, 2025, the new Brawler Kaze costs 5,500 credits. That's a lot of credits. If we could save the credits we earn, it would be much easier.

Just stack brawl pass drops and credits so that at the end of the season they will be autocollected into the new brawler (or if you are a tryharder, open the game 1 hour before the new season because the new brawler would be right there)

Mastery was one of the best updates to Brawl Stars and replaced an outdated system that had no purpose (Player XP). So many players have spent countless hours working towards getting mastery for their favorite brawlers and now it’s just getting removed. It’s designed to be difficult to master your brawlers anyways?? The only “issue” pointed out by the team is within the design. Since mastery has been added we get plenty more quests and the trophy count has been doubled, so mastery is a bit less of a main objective but it still gave you more purpose and reason to play certain brawlers over others if you wanted to work on your mastery. Overall I’m just very upset over this update and I wish things weren’t constantly reworked and removed, there have been several points where I was very content with the state of Brawl Stars but now I don’t even want to play since so much of my progress I worked towards on my favorite brawlers is just being deleted like that. I’ve played consistently for 8 years but now I’m very discouraged and I think I won’t be touching the game for a while.

It doesn't matter .... unclaimed Mastery rewards will be Auto-collected after the update so it doesn't clash with the new system...also, how much you gain from the old system doesn't affect the rewards from the new system, in other words, we should grind Mastery as much as we can before it's gone.

Masteries were one of the best progression systems in the game, it says in the news that like only 11.8% or something of players had titles, but a guarantee you waaay more players had gold 2 or 1 masteries and were close. Please do not remove masteries! Personally, I have 2 mastery titles from brawlers, 4 gold 2 mastery brawlers and 2 gold 1 mastery brawlers.
